Dream/Engine, Brain/Drain and Vampire/Empire form a coherent group of works. The colorful sculptures appear lively and playful, but are XXL versions of popular party drugs. Zuzanna Czebatul explores their ambivalence: they facilitate social contacts, but create tensions between individuality and group dynamics. The artist thematizes euphoria and exhaustion, dream and reality, body and techno. Party drugs seem like luxury products - symbols of a consumption-driven system.

Dream/Engine, Brain/Drain und Vampire/Empire bilden eine zusammenhängende Werkgruppe. Die farbenfrohen Skulpturen wirken lebendig und verspielt, sind jedoch XXL-Versionen gängiger Partydrogen. Zuzanna Czebatul untersucht ihre Ambivalenz: Sie erleichtern soziale Kontakte, erzeugen jedoch Spannungen zwischen Individualität und Gruppendynamik. Die Künstlerin thematisiert Euphorie und Erschöpfung, Traum und Realität, Körper und Techno. Partydrogen erscheinen dabei wie Luxusprodukte – Symbole eines konsumgetriebenen Systems.
